You have taken them to the mall, Global Village, Dubai Water Canal, but they want more. Let the toddlers experience #MeetD3 happening right now at Dubai Design District. Introduce them to Art, music, installations and more. Teach them colors and meanings, so that they don’t spend their adult life listing Playstation as a hobby. If you haven’t been to Dubai Design District yet, gather the kids and get there before the 10th!
If you find the route daunting, remember Al Khail road is your best bet, get onto Al Khail and fix up your Google Maps.
There are a host of interactive installations and activities that are taking place at Meet d3 which not only entertain and engage, but provide innovative and educational programming for all young minds.
The program includes:
Audi Heroes In Training
A fleet of 20 mini electric Audi R8 Spyder models gives children an entertaining and educational ride on an interactive course featuring road junctions, traffic lights, road signs and roundabouts.
HIPA Soorah Challenge
The Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) is excited to inspire our youth to capture moments and participate in the Soorah Challenge. Visit the HIPA kids zone for photography contest instructions and a chance to win!
Playable Room by Ototo
Ototo’s Playable Room is space where every object can be played like a musical instrument and visitors can make music by simply touching and moving things around. Teach the kids how sound travels, and let them play balloons, broccoli, pumpkins and so much more.
Sketch Aquarium by TeamLab
Sketch Aquarium is a digital aquarium where sea creatures that are drawn and colored by children magically come to life and swim freely in a virtual sea.
TapeScape by Eric Lennartson
TapeScape is an incredibly fun and surreal exhibit that uses packing tape to create an interactive playground!
Osmo by Loop.ph
This one is absolutely awesome. Osmo is a monumental, inflated silver sphere that envelopes groups of visitors and invites them to relax under the stars of a projected universe whilst listening to an ambient soundscape from outer space.
Let’s not forget there is NO ENTRY FEE, it is open air so you can enjoy the weather and there is enough food and drinks to keep everyone in the family happy! Don’t sit this one out!
